| Why that 'Java-FREE site' button? |
Because this site is Java-free (javascript only). Because it would be much better if this stupid language was what it's originally supposed to be - a language for consumer electronics. I'm not completely against Java (although I don't like it), but it's overused on the Web. In most of cases Java is used on web-sites just because people think it's cool, and the main reason why they think so is all that verbiage about what a great new machine-independent language it is, that's been pushed into their ears and eyes last years. I'm sick of it. |

Heh... Life would be much better if lamers LEARN a bit the subject before arguing it. Okay... Javascript and Java are two distinct languages, and there's little common between them. |
| I'm using Opera v5.x and it looks like your menu script doesn't work with it. Both menu and button are at the top of the page and don't move when I scroll. |
Opera and MSIE has different Javascript implementations, that is, a script must know what browser the user's using in order to do some things corectly. But by default Opera identifies itself as MSIE 5, making it impossible for scripts to distinguish between those two. The solution is to go to "Preferences / Connections" in Opera and set "Browser identification" to "Identify as Opera" |
